Het is belangrijk voor de spieren, de zenuwen en de vochtbalans van het lichaam. Maar het verhoogt ook de bloeddruk. Wanneer u een hartaandoening heeft, is het daarom extra belangrijk op uw zoutinname te letten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wist u dat de gemiddelde Nederlander dagelijks veel meer zout eet dan eigenlijk goed is?\u00a0Aan veel voedingsmiddelen wordt zout toegevoegd. Het geeft smaak en zorgt ervoor dat voeding langer goed blijft. Er zit dus al vaak al veel zout verborgen in producten die we gebruiken. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan voorgemengde kruiden, sojasaus en andere kant-en-klaar producten. Zonder dat we het doorhebben, gebruiken we hierdoor meer zout dan eigenlijk gezond is.<\/p>\n<h3>Natriumarm een oplossing?<\/h3>\n<p>Natriumarme producten gebruiken kan een oplossing zijn. In deze producten is natrium vervangen door kalium. Let wel op wanneer u plastabletten gebruikt! U kunt door het gebruik van natriumarme producten een te hoog kaliumgehalte krijgen.<\/p>\n<h3>Kooktips<\/h3>\n<p>Zout is een smaakmaker. Hoe kunt u letten op uw zoutinname, maar w\u00e9l lekker blijven eten?<br \/>\nProbeer zoveel mogelijk onbewerkte producten te gebruiken. Dus liever geen vis of vlees dat in de winkel al gemarineerd is. En bijvoorbeeld liever geen sauzen uit potten of zakjes.
